The 2009 Hyundai Genesis is the most dependable model in its class, according to recent studies. The Hyundai Elantra also proves to be one of the best in its class.
They received the prestigious “Most Dependable Vehicles” awards as part of the annual J.D. Power and Associates 2012 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM
As explained on www. jdpower.com:
“The study, which is based on responses from more than 31,000 original owners of 2009 model-year vehicles after three years of ownership, measures problems experienced during the previous 12 months by those original owners. Overall dependability is determined by the level of problems experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100), with a lower score reflecting higher quality.”
The Genesis gets near perfect ratings across the board in the Midsized Premium Car Class. It was best of the best in Overall Dependabilty, powertrain dependability, and feature and accessory dependability. It scores better than most in body and interior dependability.
The 2009 Hyndai Elantra is one of the top three most dependable Compact Cars in its class.
