The 2013 Ford Escape has been completely redesigned with technology that puts it on the forefront of the modern vehicles.

One of the top features of the new Escape is the available Hands-Free Liftgate. How many times have had your hands full with groceries, luggage, boxes or other heavy items, and you’ve had to juggle your keys to open the trunk?

Well in the 2013 Ford Escape, the Hands-Free Liftgate changes everything. As shown in the video, now all you need to do is simply swipe your foot under the rear bumper, and the Escape’s trunk will open, making it easier than ever to open and close your liftgate!

The 2013 Ford Escape features more space than ever. With the back seats up, you can hold 34.3 cubic space of storage, or if you fold down the rear seat, you get 67.9 feet of cubic space.

The Escape also features a 1.6L EcoBoost engine that gets up to 33 mpg on highway, according to EPA estimates. Some higher trims also feature an available 2.0-L EcoBoost Engine.

Ford has also made the Escape more Eco-Friendly by building its seats out of soybeans! The door panels are made from a tropical plant that is a renewable resource. It is lighter and much more environmentally friendly than previous models.

Style wise, it looks nothing like the 2012 model. It features new stylish swooping headlights and hexagon-style front grille. You can get the Escape in ten different exterior colors.

The Escape features the Ford Mytouch and SYNC systems that allow for hands-free phone and entertainment communications.

The Ford Escape can park itself thanks to available active park assist system.

The Escape comes with available blind spot monitors, intelligent key start system and available audio system from Sony.

The Ford Escape compares favorably to the Toyota Rav4, Chevy Equniox and Mazda  CX-5, because it has more available and cutting edge technology, better fuel economy and better style.
