Some of Ford’s top SUVs are the most satisfying vehicles to drive.

That’s according to J.D. Power, which named the 2012 Ford Flex and 2012 Ford Expedition Best in Class in its 2012 APEAL Study.

The APEAL Study measures how satisfied customers are with their new vehicle purchases.

The Flex is one of the coolest SUVs on the road. Its five star rating in overall performance and design has it at the top of the class. It received 5 stars in overall performance and design, features and instrument panel, style, performance and comfort.

The Flex is also a great vehicle to take outdoors.

J.D. Power says the 2012 Ford Expedition is the best in class for Large Crossover SUVs.

It gets a perfect score for overall quality and overall performance and design.

Customers say they love the features, performance, comfort, and quality that comes along with owning a Ford Expedition.

This isn’t the first time J.D. Power has honored the Expedition’s quality.

The J.D. Power and Associates Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study examines what consumers like about their new vehicles after 90 days of ownership. Often referred to as “things gone right,” APEAL is based on eight categories of vehicle performance and design: engine/transmission; ride, handling and braking; comfort/convenience; seats; cockpit/instrument panel; heating, ventilation and cooling; sound system; and styling/exterior.
