The Subaru Impreza has been named a Top Vehicle for 2012 by Consumer Reports.
The redesigned, All Wheel Drive model received rave reviews throughout the year. Consumer Reports now considers it one of the top six models of the year.
Subaru made the model more well rounded with better handling and more spacing.
Subaru made a new cabin design for the 2012 Impreza, placing the windshield further forward, giving the driver a more spacious interior. A new electronic power steering model was designed for the new Impreza, along with driver’s knee airbags and whiplash-protection front seats.
The 2012 Impreza also includes more trunk and cargo space
The Subaru Impreza gets 27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, a 36 percent increased over the 2011 model.
As a whole, Consumer Reports voted Subaru best Automaker for 2012.
Edmonds says the Impreza is a Best Value pick and will keep in five years the biggest percentage of what you paid to drive it away new.
