Fortune Magazine has said what everyone who owns a Subaru already knows – Subarus are the best cars money can buy.
In an elaborate article published Monday, Fortune breaks down the many recent successes of the Subaru brand, and in the end declares that you cannot go wrong when you choose any Subaru product.
So why does Fortune Magazine give Subaru such a ringing endorsement?
Well the best place to look is the trophy case.
Consumer Reports named Subaru the “Best Automaker” earlier this year.
ALG awarded Subaru with Best Annual Resale Value Award , meaning Subarus have the highest retained percentage of MSRP after a 3-year period.
Every model in the Subaru lineup is a “Top Safety Pick,” according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. No other manufacturer can make that claim.
Fortune goes on the mention that Subaru is again shattering national sales records this year, including a 30 percent jump from Oct. 2011 to Oct. 2012.
Some of the more obvious reasoning for Subaru success of course comes from Subaru’s Symmetrical All Wheel Drive. No other manufacturer offers All Wheel Drive across all platforms, and when Mother Nature tries to do her worst, you’ll easily get through thanks to Symmetrical All Wheel Drive.
So what else is making the Subaru model such a hit? Fortune Magazine says the release of the all new Subaru BRZ and XV Crosstrek have been hits.
Finally, Subaru is expanding its manufacturing base in North America. Subarus are built in a “zero landfill,” meaning that all waste is recycled and turned into electricity.
They recently invested $75 million into American Manufacturing, which will allow Subaru to make up to 180,000 vehicles in this country.
