Review: 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

The new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is a completely redesigned vehicle with tons of space and special features. When you see it for yourself, you’ll see why this is Nissan’s most innovated year ever.

Nissan has redesigned its lineup for 2013, and the Pathfinder is the second redesigned debuted, behind the 2013 Nissan Altima.

This Pathfinder is something to be seen. It combines everything you need in your larger vehicle. Seven can comfortably inside the 2013 Pathfinder, but if space needs override people, you can very easily fold down the seats and turn the Pathfinder into the most stylish moving van on the road.

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder carries 16 cubic feet of cargo space. Under the floor storage area gives you even more cargo room, even when the seats are down.

The redesigned style is really what separates this year’s Pathfinder. You notice the new long, swooping headlights and flowing lines down the side. The Pathfinder also has a redesigned front grille, which gives the Pathfinder a combination of style and power unseen on previous models. You can get your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder in 8 exterior colors and the choice of four interior seat colors and materials.

Now let’s talk about the features. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is special features galore. The best is the available bird’s eye Around View Monitor. The Around View Monitor is the next generation of the backup camera. Instead of just seeing just what is behind you, Nissan has placed four cameras around the vehicle that create a composite image on the touch screen monitor.

It’s never easy to parallel park a larger SUV, but thanks to the composite monitor, you’ll never have a problem fitting your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder into a tight spot.

Other features include the push button intelligent key that makes the key a thing of past. You’ll also get available heated or cooled seats, available heated steering wheel, navigation, and the easy fill tire alert system. When filling your tires, a horn will beep to alert you that the tires are at their ideal pressure.

Another nice feature of the 2013 Pathfinder is the advanced Drive-Assist Display. You won’t have to divert your eyes away from the road, because right on center dash is your radio information, vehicle diagnostics, car positing, mpg and trip information.

The Pathfinder comes in available 2wd or 4wd. The Pathfinder gets up to 26 mpg. If you have the 4wd option, it’s easy to switch from front to four wheel drive. The Pathfinder carries up to  5,000 lbs of towing, so hook up the boat or camper and have an amazing summer.

What others are saying about the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder:

Autoblog:

By offering a well-appointed cabin, lots of functionality and decent driving dynamics wrapped in a sleek (well, sleeker) new wrapper, we don’t see how this new Pathfinder could be anything less than successful.

Edmunds:

Pros: Roomy and upscale interior; good fuel economy; compliant ride quality.

Los Angeles Times:

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder does a better job than most of its rivals of balancing fuel efficiency and comfort with practicality, towing capacity and value.
