The 2013 Hyundai Elantra broke all time sales records this year.

Hyundai Motor America announced the Hyundai Elantra, ALG’s compact car residual value leader for three straight years, has set another all-time sales record in 2012, surpassing last year’s total of 186,361 units earlier this month. With a week left in the year, Elantra could become Hyundai’s second model to break the 200,000 unit mark in annual sales, joining its big brother Sonata at that level, which is also built at Hyundai’s assembly in Alabama.

When you first drive the Elantra, you’ll completely understand why all your friends are switching over to the Hyundai product. The 2012 Elantra was named the “North American Car of the Year,” and the incredible style of the Elantra will just blow your mind. The Ford Motor Co. announced Thursday that it plans to invest more than $700 million and create more than 12,000 jobs in the United States over the next few years.

This is good news for automotive giant, who has saw a very successful 2012. Initially, 2,350 jobs will created in Ford’s home state of Michigan, with more than 12,000 new American jobs added by 2015.

Aol Auto’s experts put the numbers together, and determined the last few days of the years should be busy inside the showroom.

Specifically, the experts point to December 24, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31st as the best days.

“We think December is going to be a mad crazy month for buying,” says AOL Autos editor-in-chief David Kiley. “You have end-of-year sales targets and competitions between automakers to top one another, plus shoppers still out there replacing cars destroyed by Sandy in the Northeast.”
