Two Ford models are on the list for North American Car and Truck/Utility Vehicle of the Year. If they can win over the voters, the Ford Fusion and Ford C-Max may bring home the hardware. Ford was the only manufacturer with two vehicles to be named finalists.
The 2013 Ford Fusion is a finalist for the 2013 North American Car of the Year. The gorgeous redesign is one of 3 cars voters will consider. The winner will be announced at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
It’s easy to see why the voters considered the 2013 Ford Fusion for this prestigious award. As redesigns go, none compares to the Ford Fusion. The Fusion takes cues from European sports cars with a hexagon styled grille, thin swooping headlights and side line models.
The new redesigned Fusion also features a sportier styled seat surface. Those seats are the most comfortable we have ever sat on.
The Fusion was also named and IIHS Top Safety Pick.
2013 Ford C-Max Named Finalist for Truck/Utility Vehicle of Year
The Ford C-Max is a brand new vehicle for 2013, and it could be one month away from being the Car of the Year.
The C-Max is one of 3 vehicles competing to be the North American Truck/Utility Vehicle of the Year.
As the new King of the Hybrids, the critics are choosing the Ford C-Max over the Toyota Prius thanks to fuel economy that also comes with style and special features. The C-Max gets up to 47 MPG, and comes with sporty alloy wheels, and available sunroof that stretched from front to back, backup camera, satellite radio, leather steering wheel, and push button ignition. Push button ignition makes the key a thing of the past, just push the button and the C-Max quietly starts.
It’s the quietest car we ever tested, and we think this is a no-brainer to win the North American Car of the Year Award.
