Ford Motor Company Sells More than 2 Million Cars in 2012

Ford Focus helps the Ford Motor Company reach 2 Million

2012 was a good year for Ford. With the Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta, and the rest of the line up being as popular as they are, Ford was able to sell over 2 million cars in 2012.

Jim Farley, Ford’s executive vice president, Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln, says:

“In just three years, Ford Motor Company has transformed our global small car lineup and started winning over customers worldwide with vehicles that are not only fun-to-drive but also fuel-efficient – largely thanks to our award-winning EcoBoost engines.”

Ford is the only company in the auto industry to have three vehicles in the top-10 best-selling models worldwide, according to a Polk global industry data report. Their F-Series of vehicles are the fourth-best selling worldwide, with over half a million new vehicle registrations throughout 2012.

Also, according to Polk, the Ford Fiesta, another of Ford’s best-selling vehicles, is also expected to be the worldwide best-selling B and C-car.

The Ford Focus is also on course to become the best-selling global nameplate vehicle this year.

While we are proud of all the car makers we work with, we have to take this time to applaud the Ford Motor Company on its achievement. We are huge fans at George Waikem Ford and hope the following year can bring more good news.
