Consumer Reports Drives the 2014 Subaru Forester

We’ve already seen the first pictures of the redesigned 2014 Subaru Forester. Although it hasn’t hit the dealership floors yet, the experts are getting their first test drive.

Consumer Reports recently tested the 2014 Subaru Forester, and they are giving it rave reviews. It’s scoring high points for adding technology and more space to an already reliable vehicle.

What Consumer Reports likes about the Subaru Forester includes features and and more space. The Forester will come with available backup camera and power lift gate, something that isn’t standard on many comparable models. The new Subaru Forester will have larger doors and even more legroom and trunk space than previous models, despite the fact that Subarus are already some of the most roomy vehicles in market today.

The Subaru Forester will also come with available eye sight and crash avoidance technology, explained in the video above, and detailed in our review of the 2013 Subaru Legacy.

All-in-all though, Consumer Reports is giving the 2014 Subaru Forester a high grade.

“Since winter has hit in full force, it’s too bad the new Forester isn’t on sale now. We look forward to buying a Forester at a local dealer to add to our test fleet.”

In 2012, Consumer Reports voted the Subaru brand “Best Automaker.”
