2013 Ford Edge

The 2013 Ford Edge SE is the least expensive 2013 Model to Insure.

Insure.com has compiled a list of the 20 least expensive 2013 cars to insure. And there is good news! Models from Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and Ford have all made the list.

Many of the vehicles on this list are SUVs or Crossovers. Of this, Russ Rader, spokesperson for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, says:

“These are vehicles used largely by families. They’re going to the mall, taking kids to school and driving to sports practices on the weekends. They’re not getting into a lot of crashes.”

A lack of accidents and low repair costs are making for lower insurance costs.
