Hyundai, Kia Debut Super Bowl Commericals

The Super Bowl is just as much about commercials as it is football, so it’s no wonder people are talking about the commercials as much a previewing the game.

Hyundai and Kia leaked their Super Bowl commercials earlier this week to much fanfare, and we’re giving you a sneak peak right here at the Waikem Blog.

Hyundai has leaked two commercials promoting the 7-passenger 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Their first ad is called “Epic Playdate,” and includes a guest cameo from The Flaming Lips. Watch dad take his kids in the 7-passenger SUV for a memorable day out.

This second Hyundai Super Bowl Commercial is just called “Team.” After a young boy doesn’t get picked for a backyard football game, his mom gathers up 7 friends in the Santa Fe and takes on the bullies.

Kia debuted this “Space Babies” commercial on Thursday, and it was immediately the No. 1 trend on Twitter.

In the commercial, a young man sitting in the back of his parent’s 2014 Sorento asks his dad where babies come from. From there, his dad tells the story of a magical faraway planet known as “Babylandia,” and follows infant boys, girls, dogs, pandas and more on their journey into earth.

Subaru isn’t going to the Super Bowl, they are placing all their commercials in the Puppy Bowl on the Animal Planet.
