Honda Wins Three Awards From Kelley Blue Book

Kelley Blue Book has recognized Honda in their sixth annual 2013 Brand Image Awards.

Honda has been named the Most Trusted Brand, Best Value Brand, and Best Overall Brand. Kelly Blue Book bases their decisions on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book Market Intelligence’s Brand Watch study. Brand Watch taps into more than 12,000 new-vehicle shoppers annually on KBB.com.

Honda was named the ‘Best Overall Non-Luxury Brand’ by securing the highest average score across ratings of all non-luxury models.

Fusions Receive Best Cars for Families Award

2013 Ford Fusion

The 2013 Ford Fusion is one of 6 Ford’s named ‘Best Car for the Money’.

Each year U.S. News & World Report awards new models, within 19 categories, for being the best for families.

This year Ford has their models earning top spots. The Ford Fusion won for best midsize car and the Fusion Hybrid won for best hybrid car.  This would be the second year in a row for the Fusion Hybrid and third in a row for the Fusion.

U.S. News & World Report determines the winning vehicles based on the best combination of quality, features, and space for families.

The Fusion and Fusion Hybrid are  no strangers to awards and recognition. MSN Autos included the Hybrid in their list of  cars that reach at least a combined 35 MPG (the Hybrid gets 47 mpg). And the Ford Fusion was named the  family vehicle of the year by the Midwest Automotive Media Association.

Waikem Honda Service Department Wins Awards

Waikem-Honda-Service-Staff The Waikem Honda Service Department received the Express Service Elite Status Thursday at a reception in the Massillon Honda service department.

Brian Solenthaler of American Honda attended the ceremony, and told the service department that Elite Service designation is given to Honda Service Departments who score high on customer satisfaction surveys.  Waikem Honda Service Department received top scores for Time to Complete Service, Customer Service, and Customer Satisfaction.

Nissan Performs Well in J.D. Power and Associates Customer Satisfaction Index Study

Thanks to the redesigned 2013 Nissan Altima, Nissan broke all time sales records in 2012.

Nissan has steadily climbed J.D. Power and Associates CSI Study each year. This year they are sixth among 19 nameplates in the mass market brands segment.

The J.D. Power and Associates CSI study ranks customer satisfaction with dealer service departments during the first three years of ownership. The 2013 U.S. CSI StudySM surveyed owners and lessees of 2008 to 2012 model-year vehicles. Nissan improved significantly in all five CSI study factors – service advisor, vehicle pick-up, service facility, service quality and service initiation.

For the 2013 study Nissan has improved by 23 points and earned 797 out of a possible 1,000 points, placing them sixth. Over the past two years, Nissan has earned 66 points and 14 places in the mass market brands segment ranking.
