The 2013 Ford Fusion had a record setting sales month

The 2013 Ford Fusion and 2013 Ford Escape posted all-time monthly sales record in March 2013. The 2013 Ford F-150 and 2013 Ford Explorer are posting their best sales months in a  long time.

The Fusion, redesigned in 2013, is obviously attracting customer’s eyes. The Fusion posted its best -ever sales month — selling more than 30,000 units nationally in the month of March and more than 80,000 vehicles in the first quarter of 2013.

“Customers are buying our all-new Fusion and Escape in record numbers, and we are working harder than ever to keep pace with demand for these fuel-efficient vehicles,” said Ken Czubay, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service.

The Fusion was 100 percent redesigned in 2013. It looks like a European sports car with a wide, trapezoid grille, thin swooping headlights and long sculpted side lines. High quality sports quality seats. The Fusion is even more fuel efficient, getting up to 37 MPG.

The Fusion earned a NHTSA five star score in its crash test rating. The Ford Fusion was also named a Top Safety Pick+ from the International Institute for Highway Safety. The 2013 Ford Fusion has been on many lists for the Family Vehicle of the Year. US News and World Report names the Ford Fusion has the “Best Car for the Money.”

Also, the 2013 Ford Escape had its best sales month ever, selling nearly 29,000 vehicles in March 2013. This 28 percent increase over March 2012 sales marks the best sales performance since the Ford Escape was launched 13 years ago. Redesigned in 2013, the Ford Escape was one of the first Ford models to receive the trapezoid style grille that is the new face of Ford.

It comes with up to 33 MPG on the highway with a 1.6L EcoBoost engine that is made in Ohio. The intelligent hands free truck gate helped it earn Popular Mechanic’s “2013 Car of the Year,” award.  It also earned an NHTSA 4-star crash rating. 

The 2013 Ford Explorer also saw a 33 percent increase over last year’s sales. This was the Explorer’s best sales month since the current design was released in 2010.

The Ford F-150 sold more than 67,000 units nationwide in March, marking the 20th consecutive month that the Ford F-150 has seen increased sales.

  1. I agree, Ford is back in its prime with all its energy and cost efficient models. This is one brand that really takes its consumers needs and opinions to heart and produces great products and marketing.
