AutoTrader says the Honda Fit, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Accent and Kia Soul are among the best new cars with low monthly payments.
AutoTrader was looking for the best new models with payments under $300 per month. Using the a formula that includes 6% sale tax, 10 percent down and national average interest rates and loan terms, AutoTrader considers these models to be top:
AutoTrader recommends the well equipped Fiesta SE. AutoTrader says since the Fiesta comes with standard features that include remote keyless entry, air conditioning and power windows. The SE package also comes with SYNC infotainment system, inlcuding USB ports for music and auxiliary jack for MP3 players.
AutoTrader chooses the standard model, saying “we think the base-level Fit offers everything most driver’s need.” AutoTrader highlights the Fit’s cruise control, keyless entry, split folding rear seat, USB interface and auxiliary jack for MP3 players. Even when you add the automatic transmission, the Fit “fits” AutoTrader’s budget.

Even the SE, Hyundai’s top of the level Accent, fits AutoTrader’s criteria. The Accent has a lot of car for not a lot of money. You’ll get Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary input, alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes and side curtain airbags.
The Accent is also voted one of the Best Cars under $20K according to Consumers Reports.
