Review: 2013 Hyundai Elantra

The 2013 Hyundai Elantra continues the great tradition established by Hyundai over the course of the last decade. The Elantra picks up from the 2012 model, which was named North American Car of the Year. That’s just one of many awards the Elantra has won. Overall, few cars have as many great standard features as the Elantra.

Again, the Elantra comes relatively unchanged in 2013. The 2012 design was considered the North American Car of the Year. So what makes the Elantra so great? When you see it for yourself, you’ll note that this is such a gorgeous vehicle. Hyundai puts great effort into modern design, highlighted by long, swooping headlights and  long, flowing lines that stretch across the side.

Everything inside is also high quality, from the cloth or leather seats, steering wheel design and the design of the center console.

The Elantra comes in a Sedan, Coupe or GT Wagon Style. The four door sedan is the most popular Hyundai model, and it comes in two trims, a Standard GLS or Limited. If you choose the less expensive GLS, you might think you picked the Limited because there are so many great standard features of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. In the automatic transmission with preferred package, you’ll get heated front seats, bluetooth, fog lights and steering wheel audio controls. All Hyundai Elantras comes with plugs for your iPod, ABS, 16 inch alloy wheels, Active Eco System and keyless entry.

Upgrade to the Limited Package to add leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated front and rear leather seats, and sunroof. Add the Tech Package to include navigation, and push button ignition.

Fuel Economy is a big plus, as you’ll get up to 38 MPG in your 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

Hyundai takes great measures to keep your Elantra safe. It comes with ABS with brake assist, vehicle stability management, tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights and six airbages.

Safety continues with America’s Best Warranty, 10-year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, 5 years, 60,000 miles limited warranty, and 24-hour roadside assistance, unlimited for 5 years.
