The 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage is coming to the Massillon showroom very soon. With 40 MPG and very low price the Mirage is starting to garner national attention, and we cannot wait to see it ourselves.
Mitsubishi has announced the base price of the 2014 Mirage starts at only $13,970. EPA fuel economy estimates at up t0 44 MPG and 40 MPG combined. If these estimates are accurate, the Mirage would be the most fuel efficient gas powered non-hybrid vehicle in America.
Space is going to a plus with the all new Mirage. It has space for 5 people, while the competing Chevy Spark will only seat four people. While we here, the Mirage’s 96.5 inch wheelbase is longer than the 2014 Chevy Spark. The Mirage is also longer and more fuel efficient than the Chevy competition.
Ford’s 1.0-liter Ecoboost 3-cylinder engine was voted the International Engine of the Year Award.
Ford has been working hard to bring engines that are powerful, smarter, and more fuel efficient. They recently produced their 2 Millionth EcoBoost engine. Ford will be adding the 1.0 liter EcoBoost production at their Chongqing, China plant. Which will only help to raise these numbers.

A study from the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute has determined the rise of fuel economy each year since they started keeping track in October 2007. The average for August 2013 was 24.9 mpg, almost five times the amount in October 2007.

Transit Connect is the ‘International Van of the Year 2014’
This is the fifth time Ford has earned the ‘International Van of the Year’ (2001, 2003, 2007, 2013) and the second consecutive year. Last year the Transit Custom took home the honor.
The Connect was given 130 points out of a maximum 163 by European specialist journalists. The Connect beat the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and the Renault Kangoo.
