The Waikem Auto Family has invested more than $600,000 in our body shop to make it one of the few local dealerships ready to handle the new Ford trucks. Aluminum is different to handle than steel. Along with facing the challenges of the new truck, our new Body Shop will meet EPA compliance updates, and an all-new paint booth designed for water-based paints.
Body Shop director Jim Shreve says we can nearly perfectly match your paint, and water based paint is preferred by insurance company.

The Canton Repository says independent body shops will have a more difficult time adjusting to these changes, because it will need to invest in new equipment and train technicians.
The Waikem Body Shop is nationally recognized, as we’ve been featured in publications such as Fender Bender Magazine. We were also voted “Best Body Shop,” in the Canton Repository’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards. The Waikem Body Shop is located at 4321 Lincoln Way East, behind George Waikem Ford.
The 2015 Ford F-150 will be one of the most popular vehicles when it hits the dealership later this year. The highlight of course is the aluminum body. Ford says by switching from steel to aluminum, the F-150 will be nearly 800 pounds lighter. Other highlights of the new F-150 include a new EcoBoost engine, LED lighting and a number of technology improvements.
