Ford 1.0L EcoBoost Wins International Engine of the Year Award

Ford’s 1.0-liter Ecoboost 3-cylinder engine was voted the International Engine of the Year Award.

Ford’s 1.0 liter EcoBoost Engine has again been named the International Engine of the Year from a panel of world-renowned Automotive Expert. This is the third consecutive year this diminutive engine has taken home the award.

With fuel economy approaching 40 MPG that doesn’t sacrifice on power, the engine is something to be seen. It has been available in Europe for years, and it’s now making its way in to the states. It’s already available in the Ford Fiesta, and it will also be available in the 2015 Ford Focus.

George Waikem Ford Donates to Massillon Relay for Life

George Waikem Ford helped the Massillon Relay for Life raise more than $1,600 for cancer research.

We held a special picnic at the Ford store Saturday, grilling hot dogs, selling raffle baskets and teaching customers and associates the importance of cancer research and raising awareness.

George Waikem Ford is holding a community celebration Saturday, June 14th at the dealership with the Massillon Relay for Life.

Ford will donate $20 to the Massillon Relay for Life organization for every new Ford test drive that day.
