July looks like it is going to be the best month this year to purchase your new vehicle. With interest rates at an all time low and this years hottest models already on the showroom floor it is going to be a stellar month.
Lending
Auto finance rates are at an all time low in 2014. Experian reports that the average interest rate for an auto loan has fallen to its lowest average ever. In Ohio, auto financing average is just Ā 3.32%, making the Buckeye State in the top 20 nationally.
Peter Turek, Vice President of Automotive at Transunion had this to say. “āUnless there is a real shock to the economy, we donāt envision auto loan debt levels to drop for quite some time,Ā This is good news for dealers, lenders and consumers, as higher demand for autos will lead to more auto loans, creating incentives for consumers, as auto dealers and auto lenders compete for their business.ā
With financing rates at an all time low and credit availability at an all time high it makes it the perfect time to purchase or lease a new vehicle.
