The 2013 Honda Civic is KBB’s best compact sedan under $25K
The Honda Accord and Honda Civic have been named the best sedans under $25K, according to Kelley Blue Book.
The redesigned Honda Accord was No. 1 overall on the list, and when you test drive it you’ll see why. Honda made great upgrades to this year’s Accord, adding improved fuel economy, all new styling and a great set of standard features. All new Accords come with a rearview camera, Bluetooth, duel climate control, alloy wheels, automatic headlights and chrome door handles.

The Honda Accord already has an impressive lineup, including the four-cylinder and V6 powered Accord sedan, the Accord coupe, and the advanced Accord Plug-in. Honda will soon be adding the Accord Hybrid to the sophisticated yet sporty lineup.
The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid is anticipated to achieve a class-leading 49 mpg in the city and 45 on the highway for a combined fuel economy of 47 mpg.
This Accord will be the first Hybrid assembled in Marysville, Ohio, and will go on sale nationwide in October 2013.

Honda was one of the top non-luxury brands in J.D. Power and Associate’s 2013 Initial Quality Study.
The study is based on customer responses after 90 days of ownership. When you remove the luxury brands, Honda was among the top 5 vehicles in Initial Quality, their score of 103 is much higher than the industry average.
Honda is traditionally a top non-luxury brand and they are always above the industry average. J.D. Power says their Initial Quality Study has always been in great indicator of long-term durability among models.
The 2013 Honda Civic LX was named one of the best base models by cars.com.

IIHS scores the 2013 Honda Civic Good in the moderate overlap front test results, Good for the small overlap front test, good for side impact test results, and good for roof strength test. To achieve Top Safety Pick Plus status, a vehicle must receive a score of good in at lease 4 of 5 tests and no less than acceptable in the fifth test. Less than 20 vehicles across the United State have been designated as a Top Safety Pick Plus.

The Honda brand continues a strong year with a large presence in Consumer Reports annual Top Picks awards.
Three Honda models were awarded best in class in the rankings, which were announced Thursday on their website and will be featured in the April edition of Consumer Reports. As a whole, the Honda brand was in the top 5 of non-luxury models.
