Waikem Auto Family President David Waikem was featured in Tuesday’s Canton Repository. The local newspaper did a story on his nomination for Time’s Dealer of the Year award.
Waikem, dealer principal of Waikem Honda and co-owner of the seven franchise Waikem Auto Family, is one of 54 dealers nationwide to be nominated for Ally’s Time Dealer of the Year Award. Check out the nice story today in the Canton Repository about recent expansions to Waikem Quick Lane and George Waikem Ford/Nissan Service Center.
The Quick Lane expansion is currently underway, and when it is finished, we will have 14 Service Bays, two which can handle the large trucks for expanded oil and gas drilling.
We’ll also be open seven days a week when this expansion is completed.
The resurgence of the auto industry is a great story to tell, and the Canton Repository told the local story in Thursday’s newspaper.
Right on the front page is the headline “Car Sales Surge,” and Waikem co-owner Doug Waikem says “In 37 years, I’ve never seen business this good.”
He said customers are getting more than ever for their trades. “Right now, people get retail for their trades.”
