Review: 2013 Honda CR-V

The 2013 Honda CR-V follows the popular redesign of 2012. As one of the most fuel efficient and award winning vehicles currently on the road today, we always feel you cannot wrong when you choose this Honda Crossover.

One thing everyone says is that the Honda CR-V is fun to drive. We detailed the redesign in great depth last year, and were please to find that 2013 picks up where 2012 left off. The Honda CR-V is very comfortable inside, with an emphasis on quality design and a smooth ride.

The CR-V is also a Buckeye, manufactured at Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio.

With up to 30 MPG, the Honda CR-V is one of the most fuel efficient SUVS to offer All Wheel Drive. The All Wheel Drive option was first introduced last year, and we think it’s important to have All Wheel Drive in this area.

Fusions Receive Best Cars for Families Award

2013 Ford Fusion

The 2013 Ford Fusion is one of 6 Ford’s named ‘Best Car for the Money’.

Each year U.S. News & World Report awards new models, within 19 categories, for being the best for families.

This year Ford has their models earning top spots. The Ford Fusion won for best midsize car and the Fusion Hybrid won for best hybrid car.  This would be the second year in a row for the Fusion Hybrid and third in a row for the Fusion.

U.S. News & World Report determines the winning vehicles based on the best combination of quality, features, and space for families.

The Fusion and Fusion Hybrid are  no strangers to awards and recognition. MSN Autos included the Hybrid in their list of  cars that reach at least a combined 35 MPG (the Hybrid gets 47 mpg). And the Ford Fusion was named the  family vehicle of the year by the Midwest Automotive Media Association.

Review: 2013 Honda Pilot

2013-Honda-Pilot

The 2013 Honda Pilot adds a backup camera standard on all models, along with room for 8.

The 2013 Honda Pilot is one of the best choices for a larger families. It’s one of the few vehicles that offers comfortable seating for up to 8 people, and with a backup camera now standard across the lineup, the Pilot is one of the most practical choices for those seeking a large SUV.

We’ve always found the Pilot to be one of the most underrated vehicles in Honda’s lineup. There isn’t a wasted millimeter of space in the Pilot. There’s room for 8 people to sit inside, and even taller passengers will fit comfortably in the back of a Pilot. Sometimes we look at 3-row models and think “who would fit in that third row,” but we don’t think that’s the case in the 2013 Honda Pilot.

While the Pilot is relatively the same as previous models, a backup camera is now standard on all 2013 Honda Pilot models. This is a big step forward, because we know it can be hard to fit a larger SUV into a tight space. Those problems are now a thing of the past.

2012 Honda Odyssey: The Ultimate Family Van

2012 Honda Odyssey

Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer road trip season, and the 2012 Honda Odyssey is the perfect vehicle for the family trip.

When we got behind the wheel, our first thought was “where was this van when we were kids.”

While we cramped inside uncomfortable bench seats with windows that didn’t open in the 1980s and 90s, the 2012 Odyssey is a comfortable, fully loaded fun mobile that you’ll love driving.
