The family received a plaque and a banner that reminds everyone of Mitsubishi’s core principle: Ichimai-iwa — “Monolithic Solidarity” or “One Rock.”

The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was voted the most reliable SUV this year by Consumer Reports. The consumer advocate magazine surveys users to find out what problems new drivers are having with their vehicle.
The Outlander Sport finished No. 1 for SUVs, defeating even models from Toyota and Lexus. Consumer Reports surveys new owners of more than 1.1 million vehicles for its annual study. They use a 17-point survey to find out any serious problem with their vehicle. The results are analyzed and released in the Consumer Report’s November edition.

Affordable doesn’t just mean “lowest sticker price” in this case, as their researchers looked at five-year fuel prices and new MSRP to create this formula. Every car on the market was studied, with the only requirement being automatic transmission, USB, Bluetooth capabilities, tilt steering wheel and power locks and windows.
At a total cost of only $22,115, the Mirage came in first place, $1,800 less than the second-place vehicle, and more than $3,700 less than the list average.
