The Ford Motor Co. announced Tuesday it will place the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible atop the Empire State Building in the New York Skyline. The all-new convertible model will sit atop the New York City skyline for 54 hours starting on April 16.
The Ford Motor Company says 2014 will be its busiest year ever.
The company will hire 5,000 workers in the United States next year on the heels of a record setting 2013.
“We saw unprecedented growth in the United States this year, especially in the midsize and utility segments,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of The Americas. “With the addition of 16 new products to our showroom, including Ford Mustang, our momentum continues.”

As reported on AutoBlog, the new updated thin headlines and hexagon grille resemble that from other leaks. But for the first time, we see the all new rear end of the 2015 Ford Mustang. This new Mustang features new ridged 3-bar taillights, a rear diffuser and the Pony logo itself stands up much better. The interior also debuts in the Dec. 9 edition of AutoWeek. You’ll notice the retro deep steering wheel, and dual gauge instrument cluster. You’ll also notice that Ford has the latest version of MyFord Touch and a center stack layout.
