1. Check wiper blades to make sure they are in good shape. Be sure to check the rear wiper on vehicles that are equipped with one.
2. Be sure washer fluid in tank is filled with a winter solution that protects to -20 degrees or more.

Waikem, the co-owner of the Waikem Auto Family, was featured in the Feb. 21 edition of the Wall Street Journal, in a feature story about dealers coming up with new ways to find used cars. In general, the Wall Street Journal says it is a great time to be a consumer, and customers get more than ever for their trade.
“I am spending more time now trying to buy cars than sell them,” Doug Waikem tells the Wall Street Journal.
Sights like this are all too common in Stark County, as it has the most deer related accidents. The Waikem Auto Body and Collision Center is part of the largest dealership in Stark County and will repair all cars with deer related accidents.
Be careful when hitting the road this month.
November is the peak month for deer versus car collisions, and Stark County is the most likely places for a deer versus car accidents.
According to data from State Farm Insurance and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were more deer crashes in Stark County than any other county in Ohio in 2011.
Also, November has the most deer/car collsions. State Farm says that more than 18% of deer accidents happen in November, with October and December the next most dangerous months, respectively.
