The End of the December 2014 Will the Best Time to Buy a Car

The last week of 2014 will be the best time all year to purchase a vehicle. Automotive experts anticipate large incentives, deep discounts and plenty of customers to visit the showroom from Dec. 26 through Dec. 31.

“With manufacturers motivated to end the year strong, dealerships eager to lower their inventory levels, and brand specialists/managers motivated to hit sales targets, it provides car buyers with negotiating opportunities,” says thestar.com.

If you are in the market to purchase or lease your next vehicle, you would be mistaken to wait until January to drive home in your next vehicle. Last year, True Car reported that New Year’s Eve 2013 was the best day all year to save money on a new car.

Stark County is No. 1 for Deer Collisions

Stark County had the most deer-vehicle collisions in Ohio  last year. Neighboring Summit and Tuscarawas Counties were in the state’s Top 1o.

With 559 collisions total, Stark had 24 more deer-vehicle collisions than any other vehicle. Study comes from the Ohio Insurance Institute, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio Department of Public Safety and Ohio State Highway Patrol.

State Farm and Ohio.com say the typical deer-vehicle accident costs around $3,414.

Stark County No. 1 For Car Versus Deer Collisions

Sights like this are all too common in Stark County, as it has the most deer related accidents. The Waikem Auto Body and Collision Center is part of the largest dealership in Stark County and will repair all cars with deer related accidents.

Be careful when hitting the road this month.

November is the peak month for deer versus car collisions, and Stark County is the most likely places for a deer versus car accidents.

According to data from State Farm Insurance and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were more deer crashes in Stark County than any other county in Ohio in 2011.

Also, November has the most deer/car collsions. State Farm says that more than 18% of deer accidents happen in November, with October and December the next most dangerous months, respectively.
