The 2014 Subaru Outback builds off last year’s updated model. With some new features at each trim level and the continued reputation of safety, the Outback is still one of the top picks.
The Outback had a big update last year, so there’s just some slight updates in 2014. So what’s new? The 2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium model now comes with heated seats. The 2.5i Premium also comes with features including 17-inch alloy wheels, foglights, rear privacy glass, heated mirrors, windshield wiper de-icer, power seats, and leather steering wheel.
The 2.5i Premium also features available options that include a backup camera and navigation, options previously reserved only for the only the more expensive limited trim.
Add in the new heated seats, and this is a lot of car.
Subaru’s EyeSight Safety Technology is now an available offer on the 2.5i Premium. EyeSight was introduced in 2013 and this is a great new tech system that integrates Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Vehicle Lane Departure Warning.

The redesigned 2013 Toyota RAV4 has received a rating of “poor’ in the IIHS small overlap test.
According to Automotive News, this test simulates what happens when a driver crashes the left front quarter of a vehicle into an object such as a tree, telephone pole or another car. Small overlap test examines how well a vehicle handles 40-mph frontal collisions.
According to IIHS and Automotive News, the RAV4’s driver’s space was “seriously compromised by intruding structure, and the dummy’s left foot was trapped by crushed and buckled sheet metal in the footwell.”
The institute also said the seat belt allowed “excessive forward movement of the dummy’s head and torso, contributing to the head hitting the instrument panel.”

The 2013 Subaru BRZ is a pure sports car introduced to rave reviews this year. It’s the first rear wheel drive in the Subaru line, break from the traditional Symmetrical All Wheel Drive from the Subaru lineup. It has been one of our fastest-selling vehicles across the dealership, and it’s easy to see why. With cutting edge style, 200 hp Boxer engine, choice of transmission, and a trophy case full of awards, it’s easy to see why this is one of the top selling sports cars already.
So what makes the Subaru BRZ so great? Subaru developed the rear-wheel drive BRZ with the fundamentals of sports car design in mind: low vehicle weight, an ultra-low center of gravity and precision steering. Utilizing Subaru’s new naturally aspirated 200 horsepower horizontally opposed (BOXER) engine design, the BRZ is a sports car that does not sacrifice everyday comfort and practicality.

The National Automobile Dealers Association and CarGurus.com say Northeast Ohio is the most affordable area to buy a new used car.
NADA and Cargurus.com recently released it study earlier this month, reporting that if you are looking for a used car in Northeast Ohio, you are getting one at the lowest cost in the country. According to their study, used cars in Cleveland, Ohio, cost on average nearly 6 percent less than the national average. Used cars in Akron, Ohio, cost 4 percent less than the national average. Many other Great Lakes Cities, such as Buffalo, NY, Detroit, MI and Toledo, Ohio, also made the list of least expensive cities to buy a new car.

In general, the Wall Street Journal says it is a great time to be a consumer, and customers get more than ever for their trade.
“I am spending more time now trying to buy cars than sell them,” Doug Waikem tells the Wall Street Journal.
