Ford Dominates ‘Best Cars for the Money’ Awards

The 2013 Ford Fusion is one of 6 Ford’s named ‘Best Car for the Money’.

Yet again Ford has taken over the U.S News & World Report 2013 ‘Best Cars for the Money’ rankings.

Topping their categories this year were the 2013 Ford Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape, and Edge.

This is the fourth year in a row the Taurus has came out on top in the large car category. This makes two years straight for the Edge in the best midsize SUV category, Fusion in the midsize category,

and Fusion Hybrid in the best hybrid vehicle category.

U.S News & World Report base their decisions on the vehicle’s safety and reliability, as well as their editorial staff’s expert opinion.

Hyundai Models Awarded KBB’s Lowest Cost to Own

The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has one of the lowest costs of ownership, according to Kelley Blue Book and KBB.com

Three Hyundai models have the lowest cost of ownership in their first five years, according to Kelley Blue Book and kbb.com.

The 2013 Hyundai Veloster, 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and 2013 Hyundai Sonata will have the least expensive ownership of any model in their class, according to annual study released by Kelley Blue Book and kbb.com Tuesday.

Kelley Blue Book’s 5-Year Cost to Own Award accounts for nearly all expenses of car ownership, including depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees for new models. The awards exist to help shoppers make more informed new-car buying decisions by breaking down typical ownership cost details and naming the brands and models with the lower projected five-year total.
